"Balut" Challenge

We have this street food in the Philippines called "Balut."

It is a developing bird embryo that is boiled and eaten from the shell.  We were in DC and went to this Filipino restaurant serving balut.

Our Captain knows about balut. He told me that he has not eaten it and wanted to try it that night. I challenged him, and he did it.

He's brave.  I haven't eaten that myself, just the sauce which is really tasty.  Kudos to Capt TJ  for taking the challenge and winning it.
