"Special"
We have a term in aviation called "special."
Those who are "special" are not the VIPs or the celebrities nor the politicians. They are the ones with disabilities and special needs to have a wheelchair. Infants are also considered "special."
I give special care and attention to our "special people." That's why they are called "special" because they need or deserve special treatment.
When pilot or gate agent ask if we have special, and if we don't have them on our flight, sometimes I jokingly say - - it is me! When I have a long day and tired, I can be a real "special."
Someday, I would like to experience riding a wheelchair, not as a disabled person but for a joy ride, and be treated as a "special."
