A Lighthouse Trip
Thanks to my long layover in Charleston, South Carolina. I got to visit the Sullivan's Island Lighthouse.
Commonly known as the Charleston light, this lighthouse holds a unique title as one of the most modern lighthouses in the U.S. It is a distinctive landmark on the beach, characterized by its unique triangular and slim structure and features an elevator and air conditioning. It continues to act as a guiding point to Charleston harbor ships.
The lighthouse is not open for public. Since I couldn't go up, I tried to just climb the fence, but I wasn't successful.
I tagged along my friend Gabby to see this lighthouse. It was a hot summer day, but it was fun. I hope to have more trips like this where I can visit more lighthouses.
